About Artist/

Heinz te Laake (1925-2001) was a  German multidisciplinary artist, and he was known for kinetic images and sculptures within clockworks. He created his first kinetic pictures and sculptures with clockworks in 1957 and was supported by Swedish collectors and patrons Theodor and Ulla Ahrenberg since 1967. Te Laake's 'clock images' can be found in numerous museum collections, e.g. the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam or the Wilhelm Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen.
